I do a lot of off-road driving

After getting the 7th comment on the dirtiness of my car it was more then clear to me how important surface is to Düsseldorf. My car sure is dirty, but Hey Düsseldorf, komm mal klar.

Why would anyone even bother about the dirtyness of someone elses car? Even more so when you don’t even know the person? Waste of energy, I would say. The fact that people are rude enough to mention it to me on this is also quite interesting*.

But, I tell you why I keep my car dirty. It is not because of laziness, or money (company would pay).
It is all about balance. Same as when I dress, or make my interior, things just should not get too polished.

The fact that my car is a black middle-class style car (A4) makes it even more important to keep the balance. Don’t want to risk driving around as a bourgeois. If I would drive a small crappy car I might have kept if shiny.

But, I want the inside of my car to stay clean. Everything else is just scruffy. Mine is a bit too scummy right now. Magic trick with flowers always work. If you haven’t already, try it.

* this does not go for my friends. You can make as much jokes about it as you like.

I love your concept of balance :) I keep my car dirty as well most of the time…

It seems to be an annoying “German-thing”, nobody cares about sandals+socks but a car needs to be polished and clean ;)
