If you are going to loose your buttons, loose them in Zürich. Roosens had the best selection on fine leather buttons. Perfect for my long black wool coat. I wore it with my  vintage Appenzeller Belt (thank you Sibylle and Hans Peter!) and the Margela scarf from Warsaw. I guess my mom could have looked the same when she got me in 1980.

In case you missed the Appenzeller belt, this Frankfurter street boy is wearing it proudly. On a kid it looks great that it is new (in case he does not have it from his dad of course. One day it will be just as worn in as mine.
