Some may think that people in the fashionbusiness is trying to escape from food as often as they can. This is a myth. I have never met so many people that share my love for food as in this industry. It is as if all the time we spend on surfaces we need to make up for through thinking about what we should fill the inside with.

Gerard from Peter Jensen impresses me every time. He candies his own orange peel and sends me marmalade made with Sevilla organges. And he is also baking his own sourdough bread. Our sourdoughs are even related since my sourdough was weak 2,5 years ago and I borrowed a spoon of Gerards. SInce then all has been fine. Gerard is also the guy that drops the meeting with the best fashion store in Europe to join me for a baguette course in Paris. He deserves a blog post.
