Recipe Testers of the World

You guys saved me half a year ago when I was getting crazy trying to reach the first deadline of a part of my book. I needed recipe testers and you helped me out. I could not have done it on time if it was not for you.

It all became a pretty funny action. One woman, from Australia, ended up testing a jam recipe (in fact, it was rosemary and grapefruit curd) made by Sasha from Canada. This curd was given to me and I passed it on to a third woman, Laura, who ended up making a completely new recipe out of it! See THE CIRCLE here. I love this.

The other day I received the 2nd round of edits back from my publisher. It is a lot of fun to go through it. But also an interesting to go through when someone else has been correcting your language. I am lightly nervous. I realize I am protecting my expressions.  Terrified to loose any irony along the way. It is a lot of give an take. But I have a great editor, so it is fun work.

And then it is the recipes…  Phu.. And that is why I am writing you here.

Can I ask you for your help again? I really want to be sure that not only I can cook after these descriptions.

Anyone up for it?

If you are, just send a mail to contact@thebreadexchange.com and I will send you a recipe!

Please write in the Subject of your mail if it is SUMMER/FALL/WINTER/SPRING where you are right now. That way I would know what recipe to give you (no need that someone from Germany gets the strawberry cake recipe send to them..).

The  Image is of one of my favorite Ladies of all time; Gallerist Francine Grunewald from Paris. I used to rent her flat for Showrooms during Paris Fashionweek. We always threw one dinner together for my friends and hers. Check out her kitchen. I wish you could see the drawing of the nude woman on the wall. So Beautiful.
