the circle

Such a a great way of celebrating the finishing the second step (out of three) of a year worth of work: 3 Bread Exchange connections in one.

In January Sasha made a Blood Orange Curd recipe for my book in exchange for a bread. As I passed it on for recipe testing here on the site in the beginning of this week Meredith, a Australian woman living in Berlin, contacted me on my blog, offering herself to test cook it. When she had tested the recipe she even brought me the curd!  I passed it on to Laura who turned the curd into sweet puffs filled with curd in exchange for a loaf of bread. Tonight they landed on my table as a surprise for Sasha as she visited Berlin.

I would say the circle is closed.

I have mentioned Laura amazing cakes many times before but Sasha might be new to you. Sasha Gora is canadian, living in München, with lovely twisted thoughts and inspiring ideas. You can follow her at Honest Cooking where she writes from time to time.
