You might know by now that one of my absolute fav stores around is Manufactum. Under one roof Manufactum is successfully mixing a variety types of products that all follow the same theme: They are original in both production and quality. I can stay there for hours since every tool or pasta package you take in your hand has a story to tell.

Last week I had a meeting with the Head of the Clothing purchase in the Head Quarter in the west of Germany, Waltrop. In the (from my perspective) middle of nowhere the most amazing old factory area shows up. Manufactum has definitely chosen a suitable site for the Brand presentation.

I was also introduced to Pia, who is in charge of all buying for the food department. She gave me her highlights in their assortment. Every product she is ordering is there due to its interesting history and due to its quality. Based on her preferences I bought a bitter cherry jam from Hamburg, Italian flour, amazing bonbons and a few different Rieslings I did not manage to try yet. I will give you an update.

To be guided around by the purchase managers at manufactum is, to me, once of the most exciting storytellings I can think of. Thank you Pia and Ursula!
