WIEN, the first Impression

So far all is good.

I have been childishly excited about this trip to Vienna. To be honest, I have not been so excited about a city trip in  a very long time (and believe me, I am always looking forward to traveling…). But there was something about my picture of Vienna that was very attracting. A little bit the same way Belgium appeals to me too.

A bit hidden.

A bit modest.

But elegant.

Not too loud.

A place where people leave you alone.

And so far it seems to be. Like the Russian cosmopolitan guy I met yesterday said with a perfect NYC dialect: “Vienna is great since you can be perfectly incognito here”.

And I like that.

Therefore I will do things that are very very Vienna klische since there is noone here to be ashamed of me. Like taking Wiener Waltz dancing lessons. It was almost 5 years since my last ball and that is way too long ago!
