Historische Bauelemente Part 2

This Saturday we were aiming to go to a store outside berlin called “Historische bauelemente”.

I felt like a kid on the way to the toy store in December.

As Usual things did not start like they were supposed to.

Of course was the car the reason for the stress. It was stuck frozen into the ice on the parking spot. The story was that I had made a really nice parking move after having to search (waaaay too long) for a spot last night.  This morning the car was stuck.

A good Excursion should start with the unexpected.

I guess we all know by now that if one uses the disturbances right they will make the journey worth it. Just like life. (yeay yeay, I hear myself. Whatever, it is true baby. And if you don’t see it that way, you loose.)

So we started the journey with Glögg (Swedish super sweet Glühwein. This one was special. Blueberry from year 2008) and Saffron buns in front of my house.

When we got there I thought I would never ever cope. I felt a mixture of extreme excitement, frustration, happiness, haben-wollen-begehrde and simple übelkeit.

I left without buying anything.

We ended the trip with a little castle dinner.

2011, a year with more excursions.
