Will be flying to Zürich tomorrow and you always have such great tips!
- I want to know where I find the best breakfast (I am more of the salty then the sweet kind of girl).
- I want to know where I could bring my computer and sit and work over the best coffee for atleast 3 hours.
- I want to know where I find the best ButterBrezel in town.
- Where is the best cheese store? I have a list of stuff to bring home to friends in Berlin.
- Best truffles?
- Does anyone know a really nice paper shop where I could get small paper boxes for the give away Christmas Candy?
- Is there another nice day spa then the Hamam?
- Does someone have an amazing massage place in mind?
- Good vintage? Preferebly classic style.
- A good vintage store for Swiss military clothes? Important!!!
- The best Zürich geschnetzeltes? Or the best Tessiner rösti? I am not too big fan of cheese fondue.
- Any sweet spots or chic old coffee houses one should not miss?
- Anything else?

I love your website and your bread exchange project and I’d love to join one day. Back to the subject: As Zurich is my hometown, here a few tips:
-Schwarzenbach Münstergasse 19: Was founded in the 19th century by the Schwarzenbach family. They sell coffee, dry fruits, chocolate, different kinds of delicious teas etc.
-Maison Blunt/Tearoom Gasometerstr. 5: A restaurant/cafe with the most beautiful furniture from Morocco and a wealthy salty (oriental) or typical Swiss breakfast (Birchermuesli for example)
-LuxPlus Ankerstr. 14: My favourite vintage clothes shop.
-Sprüngli (all over town): Try Luxemburgeli. They are actually the better Macarons. Forget Ladurée and try them.
-Kronenhalle Rämistr. 4: One of the oldest restaurants in Zurich with one of the best Züri Gschnätzeltem. And beside eating: Look at the walls!
-Globus Delicatessa Schweizergasse 11: This is where you can find food from all over the world. Swiss cheese as well. And if you’re looking for beautiful boxes, check their christmas department.
-There is a military store somewhere in Löwenstraße (opposite Migros City), which you shouldn’t miss. The old woman it belongs to is not the most friendly person in the world, but she’s selling everything from military clothes to woolen blankets.
-Casablanca, Langstr. 62: A café with wlan and good coffee. And if you decide not to drink coffee, try Gazosa. A lemonade made in a small village in Tessin. My favourite flavours are: Limone and Arancia Amara.
So, enjoy, say hello to my hometown and I hope, you’ll like some of “my” places!

Restaurant Volkshaus-for good athmosphere, the longest bar, nice food but not the best coffee-Helvetia Platz
For cheese go today to the market on Bürkliplatz-only till 11!

Kronenhalle I tried last time I was here. Was very nice. Sprüngli where out on Butterbrezel. I missed the Maison Blunt. Have to do that one in February. Schwarzenbach is also one of my favorites!

Why do we change foriegn place names to other than the real name? Example being Munchen or Munich?
