This is what French people look like when they discuss what wine is the most suitable for the occasion. I was wishing for full body and low on tannins. I love how serious they took my wish. We ended up drinking an a wine from Loire.

We had dinner at my, at the moment, fav. Parisienne wine bar: Aux Deux Amis in 45, rue Oberkamph 75011. Thank you Saskia and Philippe for taking me there!

The tapas were excellent and so was the wine. Prices were surprisingly good. We shared Borata with a smoked sardelle, Old tomatoes, Carpaccio, Goat Cheese with figs and olives.
