I am a bit ashamed that I have lived in Germany for 11 years and don’t know the country better.

So me and my Swedish friend, Anders, made up a plan to give everything we got to get to know it better. Since the country is huge, we decided to concentrate on the southern regions. More precise, our goal was Allgäu, and its surroundings.

We have been reading Wikipedia info loud in the car about every other city we are passing. We have been driving from Berlin down to Nürnberg, Bamberg, Buttenheim, Dinkelsbühl, Memmingen, Wangen, Fischbachau and finally München.

We have been eating, breathing and dressing more cliché German then Germany itself. It has been amazing. The food is great down here. We have been testing Kreuz und Quere.

This country is so beautiful. One just has to leave the highway.

Deutscher als Deutschland. It is probably nothing correct about this sentence, but who cares.  It has been fun.

And that is what matters.
