my Catch

The Fleemarket in Paris is huge. I have never been able to manage to go since fashionweek means work 24-7. This time I took the time. And it was worth it.

I must say the market was more inspirational then a place where I would buy something. The traders know what they can take for they goods and most of the antiques as really expensive. But hey, it is still more fun to have to find your own ways around things then being able to buy all you like.

I was almost out of the market area when I found my favorite shop of them all. It was a great vintage military store selling everything from Clothing to weapons and some other weird things. I love to use the object in positions they were not intended to be in from the beginning. And the ruff materials make a nice contrast to the rest of my interior and style. And, of course, after living 2 years in Germany I just love the color of Olive green, just like most German men does (Have you noticed? The color is everywhere. Every winter season. Lets call it Evergreen. It could be a brand).

I ended up buying this bag full of, well stuff. I will show you at a later point but most of it is for my guestroom and the kitchen. God it was heavy and I feel beat.

Tomorrow I will go to the Hammam in 31-33, rue des Blancs Manteaux (in the 4th) to get a back massage. They have really good pedicures which can be useful here (maybe you already knew, Paris means aching feet in French).

Where are the best army stores in the World? Personally I found the best one here in Paris. But I would love more tips!
